Our Communications Department's biggest goal is to create positive experiences for everyone who sets foot into Pacific Edge, members and staff alike. The member services team is key creating long lasting positive experiences for our current members by making sure they feel respected, valued, and heard. Qualified candidates must be available on some weekday evenings from 3pm - 8pm, as well as Saturdays from 8am - 2pm. Minimum availability of two days per week for at least 2-hour shifts required. While our scheduling can be flexible with proper notice, we are looking for candidates who have consistent availability.Business Hours: MON 3-8pmTUE 3-8pm WED 2:30-8pmTHU 10:15am-1:30pm, 3-8pm FRI 3-8pmSAT 8:15am-1:30pm (1:30-9pm for events) SUN - CLOSED The bolded times are the shifts we are in most need of hiring for. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: Communicating accurate information in a timely manner to our members Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails Greeting and assisting in-person customers Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Supporting continuity among our programs by documenting and communicating customer concerns and potential opportunities for the gym Desired Skills & Characteristics: 1+ years of customer service (preferred not required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and an approachable personality Ability to make and answer phone calls Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times even in high stress situations Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and calmly while under pressure Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Detail oriented with well-developed productivity skills Salary Range: $16.00 to $24.00 per hour (depending on industry experience)Benefits: Discounts on tuition & events for immediate family members Employee discount on Pacific Edge Pro Shop merchandise 2 free uniform apparel items upon hire and an additional free apparel item upon completion of a 60-day training probationary period iClass credits awarded annually for use towards our snack bar, Pro Shop merchandise, and services Crunch Fitness membership discount Access to supplemental insurance as well as a 401k plan (upon eligibility; restrictions apply) Full time employees are eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision Powered by JazzHR
