Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coder for a 3-month contract position. Key Responsibilities Review documentation in pathology reports and verify assigned CPT codes for accuracy Communicate with lab staff regarding discrepancies in CPT codes and documentation Ensure compliance with coding standards and guidelines Required Qualifications Certified as a CPC through AAPC Experience in medical coding, preferably in pathology Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Knowledge of CPT coding standards
