Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Elk River, Minnesota Shift: Days/Evenings, 72 Hours Per Pay Period Hourly Range: $20.00 - $26.00 Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,080 Role Overview: Seeking a Medical Assistant to manage customer flow and assist providers in the management and treatment of patients across all age groups. This role involves clinical and clerical tasks to enhance clinic operations and patient care. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate standard rooming processes, administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed. Perform laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests as required. May perform x-ray duties if certified, provide telephone support, facilitate communication between patients and providers, assist with prescription refills, and handle front desk or check-in support as needed. Ensure compliance with legal and health standards, and maintain privacy and confidentiality as per organizational guidelines. Qualifications: Proficiency in clinical and clerical tasks as outlined in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice. Ability to communicate effectively with the health care team and report any concerns, progress, or problems. Competency in additional skills depending on clinic requirements.
