Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota Shift: Days, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hourly Range: $20.00 - $26.00 Role Overview: This role involves managing customer flow and assisting providers in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all age groups, with a focus on collaborative and supportive tasks as outlined by the supervisory medical staff. Key Responsibilities: Conduct standard rooming processes, administer immunizations, injections, and manage medications as directed. Perform necessary laboratory specimen collections, phlebotomy duties, and clinical tests. Provide telephone support, facilitate communication between patients and providers, and assist with prescription refills. Depending on certification, may perform x-ray duties and support front desk operations, including check-ins and supply management. Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assistant duties as per the NMH scope of practice. Ability to maintain skill proficiency and adapt to new procedures as required.
