We are a thriving and growing organization, and our team is expanding across sites to support this growth. We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant for our Ryan White Program based in Worcester. This position works with team members to provide high quality, safe, evidence-based care. The Medical Assistant will work with team members with a specific focus on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) patients. Salary Range: $20.00-$24.00/Hour Essential Functions: Reviews EHR before sessions and participates in pre-visit team huddles. Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked exam room environment. Rooms patients and takes vital signs as needed. Handles post-appointment check-out and scheduling. Performs point-of-care testing and clinical procedures. Prepares patients for exams and treatments. Assists with prior authorizations and tracks them. Answers patient calls in the Ryan White queue. Helps with form collection and tracking for providers and nurses. Collaborates on patient data follow-up and result tracking. Notifies patients of lab orders and results as directed. Assists in medical emergencies as needed. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent CPR certification Our health center requires all employees to have the most recent COVID-19 booster and the yearly flu vaccine.
