We are a small, 32 bed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services. Job Title: Med Tech for Personal Care Department: Personal Care Status: Part Time & Flex/Pool Salary Range: Experiences based pay for Full & Part Time starting at $18/hr. Flex/Pool is $20.50/hr. PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends! (age 18 years and older) Employer match after 90 days On-Site Gym Referral Bonus Program Compassion and Relief Fund Wellness Programs Employee Assistance Program Discount Programs 24-hour coffee/tea service Appreciation Days & Special Events Potential for Annual Resident Christmas Bonus and Increases American Heritage Credit Union As a Med Tech, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities: Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges and death procedures Maintain residents' records daily, (ie) weights and vital signs, in a timely manner, and in accordance with FMC policy and procedures Assist residents with medication as defined by the medication procedure and physicians' orders. Assist residents or families who have elected to use other pharmacies. Responds promptly and positively to resident request for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel. What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ? High school diploma or GED required Must be medication administration certified OR willing to obtain medication administration certification upon hire as well as complete a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually.
