TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for Mechanical Technician in Dubuque, Iowa. Overall Purpose An Inspector/Tech is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly. Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leads Responsibilities (To include but not limited to the following) Client Relationship & Business Development Transporting materials to different locations within the facility to ensure operational efficiency Operations Performs audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material. Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job. Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment. Other duties as assigned. Mechanical inclined to do minor repairs. Must be a self-starter and should not need adult supervision which includes working with written or verbal instructions. Must be able to keep up with daily records, time, quantities and input to our system. Must have a valid driver's license.
