BC Forward is currently seeking a highly motivated : Material Coordinator II - Material Planning and Control in Ankeny IA, 50023.Position Title: Material Coordinator II - Material Planning and ControlLocation: Ankeny IA, 50023Anticipated Start Date: AsapExpected Duration: 12 Months ContractJob Type: Full Time 40 Hours ContractPay Range: $24.65hr on W2 (Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Shift Timings:1st shift- Monday- Friday (6am flex start) Possible OT per business needsJob Overview:This role involves coordinating the flow of materials across multiple factory departments to ensure production runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, production scheduling, and material transfers to maintain efficient operations.Responsibilities: * Overseeing material flow, managing shortages, inventory audits, and troubleshooting production issues * Creating manufacturing routings, programs for laser operations, and managing stock transfers * Using software like SAP, CREO, AutoCAD, and MS OfficeQualifications: * Required: 2-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, proficiency with MS Office, reading 2D drawings, and detail orientation * Preferred: 4-year degree, SAP knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience in sheet metal/fabricationBenefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
