Marketing Communications Specialist - Law Firm Experience required remote position located in California. Must be able to travel to the office 1 - 2 times a months. Office Locations: San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, Sacramento, Walnut Creek. Must have Law Firm, Engineering or Professionals Services Marketing experienceSalary $92,000 - $110,000 w/ bonus eligibility Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/match Minimum 3 years of experience Summary: Elevate the firm's visibility and distinguished attorneys on a regional and national scale. This individual will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling marketing content that captivates current and prospective clients, peers and stakeholders.The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and brings a strategic mindset, resourcefulness, and a collaborative spirit to the table. This individual must be a strong writer and editor with a client service orientation, have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. With a keen eye for detail, and a passion for writing and client service, they will manage a diverse array of projects elevating the marketing department and firm's brand awareness. Responsibilities: Works hand in hand with Marketing Communications Senior Manager to develop content for use across various external and internal platforms that support the firm's strategic direction and aligns with practice objectives. Drafts and edits a wide range of copy to develop messaging, collateral, ads, draft press releases, biographies, develop award and ranking submissions, among other strategic communications projects. Uses the project management tool Asana to track MarComm project details, tasks, and timelines to ensure appropriate coordination with Marketing colleagues, stakeholders and to ensure important deadlines are met. Help manage the awards and rankings process, monitoring for and flagging deadlines, new award opportunities, etc., and assisting with drafting or overseeing PR agency drafting of award submissions. Help shape and execute on the firm's social media strategy by drafting, planning and posting content on a regular basis. Composes and posts content on the firm's website and intranet as needed. Assists with monthly reporting of social media metrics and provides recommendations for improvement based on trending analytics. Promote and supports firm events, webinars, speaking engagements and conferences by drafting or editing web posts, invitations, speaking proposals and program content including bios, firm descriptions and ads. Ensures branding and style consistency throughout marketing collateral, both in print and online. All firm communications should adhere to the firm's style guide and best industry practices. Provides media relations support as needed, including media lists, pitching and monitoring for mentions. Collaborate with marketing, attorneys and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams. Required Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills and mastery of AP Style. Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and professionals at all levels. Social media savvy, with ability to craft social media language that aligns with firm tone and appeals to followers on all platforms. Familiarity with social media management platforms is a plus. High level of creativity and a natural ability to think 'outside the box'. Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality control. Flexibility to adjust schedule according to workload demands. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with marketing platforms such as HubSpot is advantageous. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years journalism, PR agency or professional services experience. Track record of producing positive media placements for a law firm or other professional services organization.
