The Plant Manager safely maximizes quality manufacturing output in a cost-efficient manner. The Plant Manager is responsible for all phases of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, receiving, and shipping. Essential Functions include: HSE - Responsible for year-over-year improvement on safety incident and severity rates - "The Road to Zero." Strick adherence to environmental regulations and operating permit parameters - "No NOVs." Fostering a culture of sustainability at all levels of plant operations. Ensure that all industrial hygiene requirements are being followed. Quality - Responsible for year-over-year improvement on the Internal Quality Audit scorecard. 10% reduction in new material quality complaints - claim squares/total squares produced. Strick adherence to manufacturing and finished product specifications. Service - 100% achievement of target service rates on all production and product lines. 10% reduction in year-over-year downtime and slow time. Provides direction and leadership in Root Cause and Corrective Action for any target that is not achieved. People - Effective management and leadership for the facility through performance management and performance appraisals. Provides leadership through effective communication channels. Creates a culture of employee growth through mentoring, training, and development. Fosters a culture that engages the plant personnel to give back to the community through the "Malarkey Cares" initiative. Cost - Effectively communicates the financial targets for the facility and takes appropriate action to reduce any gaps in actual performance versus the target performance. 10% reduction in year-over-year process waste and seconds. Raw material efficiency improvements of 0.2% year-over-year.
