Our Lenexa manufacturing facility is looking for Experienced Extrusion & Assembly Machine Operators who desire to help drive a safe, quality and productive environment. Individuals who are safety aware, mindful of producing quality products and have the desire to learn. Shift schedules run 3 shifts Monday-Friday and weekend overtime as needed. Positions open now for second & third shifts with competitive base pay starting at $16.00 per hour if you meet the min qualification of the position. After training and once you can operate machinery producing product a rate and within quality specifications, you are eligible for salary review. Job details This position is primarily responsible for operating programmable machines to fabricate brush and broom products; loading parts in machine, cycle machines, troubleshooting and detecting malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools; running production lots, communicating with co-workers and/or supervisor regarding production runs, and maintaining safe, organized and clean working atmosphere by performing the following duties. Duties & Responsibilities to include Program product specifications through HMI interface on machines that use this feature. Perform duties for machine start-up and set-up to meet product specification. Monitor and maintain line speed and product output. Troubleshoot machine issues and light maintenance on equipment. Cross train on multiple machines. Adhere to safety procedures in all actions. Other duties as assigned. Min Qualification 3 yrs of previous machine operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility; Prior experience in operating, setup and maintain on CNC like equipment and other machinery; High-school certificate. Preferred Requirements Prior work as a line lead or machine subject matter expert. Prior work running a partially automated assembly machine. No agencies. No sponsorship.
