Manufacturing Engineering Manager (SRCTec)
Position details : SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking an experienced manager of manufacturing engineering to provide coaching and leadership to a team of seasoned manufacturing engineers. Previous work leading a technical group is desired. Responsibilities: * Oversee all fixture design, implementation, maintenance, and sustainment * Oversee all equipment purchases related to manufacturing engineering including specifying technical qualifications, supplier selection criteria, implementation, and initial setup * Coach and mentor manufacturing engineers on structured problem-solving techniques (six-sigma or Shainin) * Execute daily standup meeting to provide tactical direction and priority for all daily engineering tasks * Oversee development of basis of estimates for contract work related to the manufacturing engineering function * Manage a functional expense budget which includes professional development, maintenance agreements, shop supplies, and labor utilization * Manage projects related to the development of new test techniques and equipment such as the installation of large capital equipment (anechoic chambers, CMM, screen rooms, environmental chambers, SMT support equipment) Position responsibilities : * Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with ten or more years of related manufacturing process experience * Working understanding of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) * Exceptional listener * Fast paced * Expertise to work in a fast-paced environment * Expertise to coach and mentor others * Expertise to develop a team * Superior written and spoken communication expertise * Knowledge of industrial and military standards (e.g., IPC, ANSI, MIL) * Hands on experience with various component packages and PCB materials Security Clearance Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder or a protected individual as defined by eight U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
