Description:
A company is looking for a Manager of Accounting Operations to oversee the General Accounting Department and manage financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end closing processes and ensure timely preparation of financial statements Facilitate year-end audit completion and oversee related reconciliations and financial statements Coordinate workflow within the department and ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Required Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting or related degree; Master's degree or CPA preferred 5 - 10 years of managerial experience in an accounting environment, preferably in healthcare Experience in a supervisory role for at least 1 - 2 years Knowledge of GAAP and healthcare accounting practices Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
