Building Maintenance Technician Opening in Minneapolis, MN!Location: Minneapolis, MNShift: 7am-3:30pmMonday - FridayPay range: $33-35/hr Responsibilities: * Perform general facility and equipment repairs which may include boiler, HVAC, compressors, pumps, welding, pipe fitting, construction, and facilities duties. * Participate as a lead or support role in capital projects. * Maintain preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory. * Maintain/monitor plant and work area housekeeping standards. * Apply all product quality and safety standards as well as report any product safety incidents to the Supervisor, Manager, or designated back-up (applicable to positions working in accordance with specific plant or company certifications).Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment required, previous experience handling chemicals is preferred. * Previous forklift operation required; equipment (skid steer, backhoe, snowplow) preferred. * Computer skills (MS Office) required and preventative maintenance program experience preferred. * Holds a boilers license Class 2C.
