Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician on the 2nd Shift will perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work that is skilled and complex. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and plant facilities to ensure the satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position involves moderate physical activity and requires a strong troubleshooting skill set. Skills Ability to navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults Modification and diagnosis of problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700) Proficient in both gas and electric welding operations Strong ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions Competence in determining effective repair procedures to prevent recurrence Responsibilities Diagnose and address mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions Implement effective repair procedures and maintain equipment to prevent issues Navigate ladder logic software for troubleshooting Modify and diagnose ABB robot issues Install, move, and align equipment as needed Operate various machine shop equipment with accuracy and efficiency Maintain a clean and orderly work area Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment Complete machine repair records and other associated duties as assigned by supervision Qualifications 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding Proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and related schematics Education Requirements Technical or vocational education (certificates or some college courses) is required to apply principles effectively Education Requirements Credential Category Technical or vocational education with certificates Experience Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant fields, including Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding Experience in troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and schematics Why work in Twinsburg, OH Twinsburg, Ohio, offers a community-oriented environment with a rich history and vibrant local culture.
