Maintenance Supervisor

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team of roving maintenance technicians. You’ll work closely with a team of administrators to coordinate schedules, approve material purchases, and oversee projects. While this is primarily an office-based role, occasional visits to job sites will be required. Key Responsibilities: Oversee a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring that they are completed safely and efficiently. Working with administrators to manage schedules and work orders Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses for repairs and upgrades Approving material purchases and managing inventory Overseeing projects and ensuring completion to company standards Working with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations Handling vendor relations, including hiring, negotiating, and managing contracts Occasionally visiting job sites for oversight and troubleshooting Communicating with property managers and tenants to provide status updates Ensuring safety compliance and following company policies Other responsibilities as assigned by management. Key Skills: Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Project Management : Skills to oversee maintenance projects from planning to execution Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and management. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate a team. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of general maintenance, electrical, welding, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Software: Experience working with MS Office Suite, Yardi, and Asana Requirements: 5+ years of experience in apartment or residential property maintenance 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team of 5+ Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable vehicle Bilingual in Spanish Preferred Candite must reside within the Los Angeles/San Fernando area What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Benefits- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment We are an equal opportunity employer.
