Maintenance Mechanic

ISC is a local manufacturing company that designs and fabricates complex systems and parts forAgriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying industries. We are looking for a skilled maintenance mechanic to keep our production equipment fleet running smoothly. What You’ll Do: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including but not limited to motors, pumps, CNC equipment (lathes, mills, plasma), manual equipment (drill presses, press brakes, slip rolls, welding machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure timely repairs to prevent equipment downtime. Collaborate with the maintenance lead, production manager, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of all tasks performed. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements. What you Need: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications are a plus but not required Valid Driver's license required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a mechanical experience field. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and electrical. Knowledge of overhead electric hoist systems Ability to operate or learn to operate Forklifts, boom lifts and other heavy equipment. Proficiency in using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work on multiple projects at once. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively. Must Provide own tools. Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8-12hrs. Sometimes weekends as needed. Must have a good work ethic, be a role model for others, and lead by example. Must be a team player, take ownership, be honest, act with integrity, and be willing to contribute to the success of the company. Safety must be embraced as a core value by following all company policies and procedures. This position requires squatting/kneeling, bending/stooping, crawling, twisting/turning, reaching overhead and outward frequently. It also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand or walk up to 12 hours per day. Able to read, write, and speak English effectively along with basic mathematical Skills required. The Work environment is not climate-controlled, 200,000 Sq ft facility.
