Are you a safety-first problem-solver who’s ready to repair, replace, install, and maintain electrical systems in homes, businesses, and factories? We’re looking for experienced electricians with a passion for helping our customers keep their lights on. Our next hire has the technical skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various electrical problems, understands the importance of and ensures all work adheres to national and local safety codes, and has completed all training, apprenticeship, and licensing requirements. Responsibilities: • Locate and correct electrical problems, including component installation and replacement• Make sure the wiring is in accordance with all building codes and safety regulations• Understand and employ electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams• Certify newly installed electrical components properly function• Install wiring and other electrical components, and test to ensure it’s properly connected Qualifications: • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs• Valid electrician license is required• Degree from electrician school is required • Strong communication skills, including tact and courtesy in dealing with others• Successfully completed formal electrician apprenticeship Compensation: $25 hourly DOE About Company: Wiggins Electric is a truly unique place.
