Job Description Title Maintenance And Automation Manager Department(s) Maintenance Reports to Plant Manager Job Summary Manage all aspects of Maintenance in your facility. Do everything possible to control the costs related to Plant and Equipment Maintenance. Summary of essential job functions and minimum requirements: Maintenance, Repairs, and PMs of production equipment. Injection molding machines Material handling system Tower & chiller system All auxiliary equipment (robots, conveyors, thermometers, welders, hot stampers, grinders, etc.) Implemented and performed recordkeeping for all PMs. Work with production on any needs or concerns with production equipment Look for opportunities for improvement through upgrades or replacement Purchasing. Prepare purchases for parts and supplies in IQMs. When approved, place the orders for all requisitions. Outsource any repairs you deem to be done by an outside vendor. Responsible for new equipment installation and start-up. Injection molding machines Robots New auxiliary equipment. Plant Safety Responsible for maintaining the Safety program Responsible for implementing and following OSHA rules and regulations. Personnel Set personnel requirements for the maintenance department. Perform evaluations on all maintenance personnel. Perform all disciplinary actions of maintenance personnel up to and including termination. Monitor and control work schedules for maintenance personnel Education and Experience Minimum of a high school diploma 2 years experience in a supervisory position 5 years of maintenance experience (preferably on injection molding machines)
