Machine Finishing Assistant- 1st and 2nd shifts available As a company dedicated to building a better future for people, the Machine Finishing Assistant plays an integral role in the success of our company and our mission. The Machine Finishing Assistant role will support machine finishing areas, machine operators and equipment staffing needs. Specific equipment they will work on include diecutting, folder glueing, mounting, and cutting where operators need support staffing to catch and efficiently run. Machine Finishing Assistant- 1st and 2nd shifts available Some of the duties include: Production Support- Assist machine operators by gathering and maintaining needed supplies specific to running jobs, aiding operators with machines set-up, and providing line support or catching of product. Quality Assurance- Provides sample check and review of in-process and completed work for quality assurance purposes Leadership Support- Assists with coordinating, training, supporting additional staffing needed to properly catch and package production Some key must-haves are: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Must be able to read, write legibly, follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Level of work activity is usually heavy involving lifting and exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally with the aid of lifting equipment, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
