Job title: Low brass Tutor. Location : Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY 11024, United States. Job Type: Part time. Qualifications: 2 years of professional experience in music education teaching high school and college and performances in teaching low brass instruments such as the trombone, euphonium and tuba. Duties: Conduct small group lessons focusing on ensemble playing, intonation, balance, blend, and stylistic accuracy. Prepare students for performances. Monitor and assess each student's progress, providing constructive feedback and adjustments to the lesson plans as needed. Encourage and facilitate group practice sessions. Maintain accurate records of each student's progress and attendance.
