A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN LOGISTICS COORDINATOR At GFC our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with GFC Buyers, suppliers and carriers. This position also ensures the timely process of invoices to accounts payable. Identify, implement and track freight and related cost savings opportunities. This role will also support, and backup international and domestic logistics operations as needed. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOGISTICS MANAGER 1-2 years of logistics experience with working knowledge in all domestic modes High proficiency with Excel Local to the Livonia, MI area High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associate degree or higher (Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management or relevant field of study) WORK SCHEDULE This position requires working Monday - Friday during typical business hours when the business clients that you support are also working.
