Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgeon Job Duration: Ongoing, 3-5 days a month Shift: Day Shift, 9am - 5pm, 5x8, 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Board Certified Physicians Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: Credentialing timeframe estimated to be 60-90 days Job Description: - Join a pool of providers for cardiovascular surgery coverage. - Patient encounters per shift range from 5-8. - Facility level 3 trauma center, no Pediatrics level. - No additional specialty skills outside of cardiovascular surgery required. - Fellowship training required: 3 years. - Procedures such as general surgery, laparoscopic, and others specified are not required. - Does not allow bids from providers utilizing the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
