Great WA Nephrology opportunity for Medical Leave coverage starting 12/16/24 or ASAP and ongoing. One provider requested. Inpatient Call ONLY Schedule: one week of coverage per month Need a Nephrologist who trained in Transplant Nephrology or has experience taking care of kidney transplant patients. Shift: Mon. 8a - Mon. 8a; 7 days Call Response: 20 min. Ave. Call s Per 24 Hrs: Phone Consults: Yes 100% Adult Pts. During in-patient call, Locum will consult on post-kidney transplant patients, write dialysis orders, manage kidney specific needs and also consult on liver patients that need Nephrology input. Clinic coverage is necessary if the candidate is a transplant Nephrologist. Otherwise, will use them for taking the M-M call. Locum will receive phone calls from other physicians, ER's, outside hospitals to provide advice on immunosuppression management. PPS: 3-5 10 Bed Dept. Hospital Stroke Certified Resident or Teaching supervision required by Locum. EMR: EPIC Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form Malpractice insurance provided.
