A FQHC is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Dorchester, MA. This position is available starting in November and will be ongoing until a permanent hire is found. It is located in Dorchester, MA, less than 30 minutes from Boston, at an FQHC. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with flexible hours (M, T, W: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, Sat: 9 AM-3 PM). No call or weekend shifts are required. The case load is 15-20 patients per day, with a patient population primarily aged 18, though Family Medicine (FM) doctors who can see all ages are preferred. The EMR system is Athena, and at least one COVID vaccine is required. The support staff includes 3 MDs and 6 APPs.
