Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Job Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Duration: Until new hires are found; possibly summer 2025 Shift: 6a-4p; 9a-8p; 11a-11p; 4p-3a; 8p-7a (Main ER); 6a-6p; 6p-6a (FSED ER); 10a-10p APP; 2p-12a EM Resident Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Emergency Medicine residency trained License: Must have a valid physician license in the practicing state Certifications: ABEM certified/eligible, ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: EM residency-trained and board certified/board eligible Job Description: - Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population. - Manage a wide variety of cases from low to high acuity. - Work collaboratively in a fully staffed team including RNs, Techs, APPs, and EM residents. - Ensure fair scheduling with a mix of days, nights, weekdays, and weekends. - Perform typical emergency medicine procedures. - Participate in a shadow shift for orientation and EMR training if needed. - No call responsibilities. - Hospital features a comprehensive stroke and STEMI center. - ER handles approximately 150 patients per day at the main site and 60 patients per day at FSED. - Support a 250-bed hospital with a 43-bed emergency room. - Admission rate is about 35%.
