Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine Job Duration: December 24, 2024, to January 1, 2025 Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am to 5pm, 40 Hours per week with 24-hour shifts during coverage period Guaranteed Hours: Experience: License: Must have an active WA license Certifications: - Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine Job Description: - Provide critical care coverage in a 14 Bed ICU. - Work 24-hour shifts comprising 8 hours in-house and 16 hours on-call. - Participate in an orientation day (150 hours). - Manage ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) - Perform procedures such as chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage, acute volume/BP management, insertion of central/arterial/PA lines. - Handle intra-aortic balloon pump placement and temporary placement. - Conduct ICP evaluation and management, dialysis catheter placement, and diagnostic/therapeutic taps (lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis). - Communicate via the specified section in the job application platform. - Must be available for the entire block of coverage dates. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days. - Fellowship required (2 years). - Facility Trauma Level: 0 - Pediatric Level: 0 Preferred Skills: - Ventilation management - Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues - Invasive and non-invasive proceduresFor more details: https://jobs-search.org/locum-physician/locum-physician-mddo-critical-care-in-washington-washington-dc_i2456217441
