Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Locum Job Specialty: Neuromedical ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x13.0 or 7 on/7 off 13-hour shifts, Day/Night, Weekends, Holidays, On Call Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 3 years critical care NP experience License: NYS license required Certifications: Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified Must-Have: - Acute Care NP or NCCPA certification - Arterial/Main Line Placement experience - Minimum of 3 years of critical care NP experience - Neurosurgical or Neurology experience highly preferred Job Description: - Deliver direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients. - Perform admission work-ups and daily management, including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and patient transfers/discharge. - Engage in student precepting and provide support to unit-based nurses. - Participate in the education of learners, using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training. - Maintain flexibility and independence while exhibiting excellent clinical skills in critical care. - Complete drug screens and physicals as required, with travel costs reimbursed for testing purposes.For more details: https://jobs-search.org/tourism/locum-nurse-practitioner-np-critical-care-in-new-york-new-york_i2456217337
