A surgery center is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The position is set to start as soon as possible, with a schedule of either 4 or 5 days a week, from 7/7:30 AM to 3:30/4 PM, with no call responsibilities. The facility uses paper charting for documentation. The role involves a full scope of practice, including cases in ophthalmology, orthopedics (with proficiency in performing their own blocks), peripheral blocks, occasional joint replacements (such as knees), gastrointestinal, plastics, and some pediatric cases. The credentialing process takes less than 30 days, and the practice is independent, typically managing 2 to 3 rooms a day,and occasionally just 1.
