NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Grants, New Mexico.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/06/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local ContractShift: Night Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 L&D/OB (LDRP) RN Requirements: MUST HAVES: Absolute Minimum of 2-years Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) experience (they would prefer them to have 4-5 years ideally) CERTS: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - which can be from AWHONN or Relias Academy (STABLE also preferred but not required) Travel experience is preferred NOT required Charting: Fetal Link and Cerner Must be proficient caring for the mother and baby No high-risk mothers typically admitted as there is no high-risk section Must be comfortable with typically L&D IV gtts especially Pitocin and Magnesium Use Omnicell Unit is a full Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) floor all in one. Will have to care for the patient through the continuum of care until discharge. Must be comfortable working in the LDRP floor setting
