Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a local contract nurse RN Case Management for a local contract nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Case Management Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local ContractTRA Case Manager TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency. The RN Case Manager / Utilization Review Nurse is responsible to facilitating care along a continuum through effective resource coordination to help patients achieve optimal health, access to care and appropriate utilization of resources, balanced with the patient's resources. This position manages medical necessity process for accurate and timely payment for services which may require negotiation with a payer on a case by case basis.Schedule: - Onsite at Detroit Receiving Hospital- Schedule is either 5 days a week Mon - Fri (8 hours a day) OR 4 days a week Wed - Sat (10 hours a day) Preferred EducationBachlor of Science in NursingMinimum ExperienceMust have at least 2 years acute care experience and at least one year of Case Management experience in an Acute Care Discharge environmentRequired Certification/Licensure-State License-BLSBENEFITS- Guaranteed hours for Travel Contracts- Preferred Booking Agreement for Local Contracts - Weekly Pay- Holiday Pay- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agency Our Hire Process- We do qualify our clinicians to meet or exceed the minimum requirements of a travel or local assignment.
