Fluent Cantonese is ESSENTIAL for this role, but candidates do not need UK experience Loan Documentation Manager (LMA) - Qualified lawyer Up to -100,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 day at home We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Documentation Manager with a strong focus on LMA (Loan Market Association) to oversee the preparation and management of loan documentation throughout the entire loan lifecycle. In this role, you will ensure that all facility agreements and transaction documents are prepared in accordance with the approved credit proposal and completed within required timeframes. Duties for Loan Documentation Manager include: Review loan documentation within required timeframes to meet business needs. Review and comment on NDAs for potential deals (primary or secondary). Register new facility proposals, monitor documentation execution, and oversee drawdowns. Negotiate and review loan documentation, ensuring compliance with approved credit terms. Participate in meetings and calls with clients, solicitors, and third parties regarding documentation. Handle secondary trading documentation, including transfer certificates and pricing letters. Liaise with external legal counsel and ensure proper legal reviews and opinions are obtained. Ensure all conditions for drawdown are met and documentation is accurate. Monitor post-issue loan security and ensure compliance with conditions and agreements. Supervise Loan Documentation Associates, provide feedback and training, and collaborate with other teams to achieve goals. Requirements for Loan Documentation Manager include: Minimum of 5 years' experience with LMA documentation and commercial lending. Fluent Cantonese language skills ESSENTIAL Previous experience in property-backed lending (for investment and development purposes), with knowledge of the procedures for security perfection and registration, is preferred. Proficiency with both primary and secondary LMA documentation. Expertise as a documentation specialist. This vacancy is being advertised by Montpellier Resourcing Associates Limited.
