Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Case Management: Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.• Client Interaction: Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to gather information, provide updates, and translate documents as needed.• Document Handling: Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.• Court Preparation: Coordinate and prepare exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders for court proceedings.• Administrative Support: Schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances; manage attorney calendars. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in habitability or tenant rights law.• Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English is required.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.• Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court filing systems.• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities; attention to detail; and a compassionate approach to client services.
