This individual will play a pivotal role in representing clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters. Collaborating closely with experienced attorneys, the Litigation Attorney will have the opportunity to engage in all phases of litigation, from case strategy development to trial representation. The work will contribute directly to advancing the legal interests of education and public agency clients.Job Overview:Represent clients in complex litigation mattersCollaborate with experienced attorneysEngage in all phases of litigationContribute to advancing the legal interests of education and public agency clientsDuties:Conduct legal research and analysisDraft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materialsRepresent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsManage and oversee case files and deadlinesProvide legal advice and counsel to clientsRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in CaliforniaLitigation experienceStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated commitment to serving clients and advancing their legal interestsCertifications:State Bar of California membership in good standingSkills:Legal research and analysisDrafting legal documentsLitigation strategy developmentTrial representationCase managementClient counseling This firm prides itself on its working environment.
