The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience and a passion for working with public sector clients. The firm offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.Duties:Represent public agencies in a variety of litigation matters, including complex cases.Provide legal counsel and support in public agency law, with a focus on litigation.Prepare legal documents, briefs, and motions for litigation cases.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.Represent clients in court, administrative hearings, and settlement negotiations.Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with legal standards and to develop proactive litigation strategies.Stay current on legal developments in public agency law and provide updates to clients.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.Experience working with public agencies or within the public sector (preferred but not required).Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to manage complex cases and work independently.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Demonstrated commitment to client service and legal excellence.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active member of the California State Bar (required).Skills:Strong litigation skills, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.Excellent problem-solving and case management abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Commitment to representing public sector clients with integrity and professionalism.
