This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment, handling all stages of litigation from client consultations to courtroom advocacy.DutiesRepresent clients in various domestic relations litigation matters, including but not limited to family law cases.Collaborate directly with clients to understand case details and strategize effective legal solutions.Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Participate actively in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, discovery, mediation, and trial proceedings.Engage with a team of skilled litigators to provide high-quality legal representation and exceptional client service.RequirementsAdmission to practice law in Rhode Island (mandatory).Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is preferred but not required.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Dedication to providing excellent client service and fostering positive client relationships.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsRhode Island State Bar License (Required).Massachusetts State Bar License (Preferred but not required).SkillsExcellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.Strong oral advocacy skills with an aptitude for courtroom procedures.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Effective communication skills for managing client relationships and collaborating with colleagues.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all case-related work.BenefitsSupportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Flexible work arrangements to foster work-life balance.Access to mentorship and direct collaboration with seasoned attorneys.Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
