About the Litigation Section Our client's litigation practice provides innovative strategies, seasoned advocacy, and substantial expertise to clients. Their litigators collaborate across various disciplines to offer insights on critical legal and industry issues that influence resolutions and align with business goals. Responsibilities Our client is seeking an associate with 2+ years of experience to join their distinguished litigation practice in New York. Ideal candidates will possess a robust skill set in complex litigation, including expertise in legal research, brief writing, document production, and discovery processes. They are looking for a proactive team player who will support the growth of the practice, contribute to thought leadership articles, attend speaking engagements, and engage in client development initiatives.Collaboration is a vital aspect of every role within the firm. As such, they encourage working in the office approximately 60% of the time in line with established guidelines. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an ABA-accredited law school Must be admitted or eligible for admission to the New York Bar Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling complex litigation matters Judicial clerkship experience is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills Professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing responsibilities Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities About Our Client Our client is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients globally. Their attorneys integrate legal, business, and industry insights to address evolving challenges. They provide guidance to business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors on crucial deals, disputes, and regulatory matters within core practice areas.
