The role focuses on representing condominium and homeowner associations in a variety of litigation matters. This position offers a flexible work environment, with the potential for a hybrid schedule following an initial in-office training period.LocationChicago, IllinoisDutiesRepresent clients in courts and administrative hearings throughout the Chicagoland areaEngage in general civil litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and conducting discovery and depositionsParticipate in trials, mediation, arbitration, and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) trainingsManage multiple client relationships, ensuring timely and effective communicationPerform legal research and follow up on case tasks to meet deadlinesStay informed about relevant changes to Illinois statutes and case lawRequirements3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigationKnowledge of the Illinois Condominium Property Act is a plusExperience in mediation and arbitration is preferredStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to handle confidential matters with discretionEducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertificationsActive Illinois Bar license in good standingSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage a varied and demanding workload with strong organizational skillsProficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a client-focused approachWillingness to travel within the Chicagoland area as neededBenefitsComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverage, life/ADD insurance, and voluntary life insurance optionsRetirement plan eligibility with additional benefits for critical illness, accident, and hospital coverageOpportunity for professional growth within a supportive, collaborative environment
