Our law firm has a full-time, litigation associate attorney position available now, and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. Our firm does not do family law but instead focuses on commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on real estate disputes, including boundary disputes, restrictive covenant violations and other HOA matters, oil & gas royalty disputes, disputes related to contracts for the sale of real property, as well as all forms of other business-related contractual disputes. We are looking for an associate who has had some commercial litigation experience, wants to practice in Weatherford, and is ready to handle every aspect of our cases, from discovery and the inevitable discovery battles, to preparing well-written motions and then arguing them at hearings, to preparing witnesses for depositions and trial, taking and defending depositions, leading clients though mediations, and ultimately trying the cases that we are not able to dispose of through summary judgment, mediation, or otherwise. Responsibilities:• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy development.• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation plans and tactics.• Manage case files, deadlines, and document production in compliance with legal standards.
