The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of patent litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, witness management, and trial preparation.Duties:Prepare and conduct trials for patent litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and court arguments.Develop and execute case strategy, manage all aspects of discovery, and analyze products and patents for infringement and validity.Work closely with witnesses, including experts and fact witnesses, and conduct and defend depositions and witness examinations.Collaborate with team members on litigation strategy and client communications.Research and analyze legal issues related to patent law and litigation.Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.Requirements:Graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admitted to or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.3-5 years of experience in patent litigation in district courts and/or before the International Trade Commission (ITC).Previous experience in handling patent infringement and validity analyses.Proficiency in drafting and preparing motions and briefs related to patent issues.Experience in managing discovery aspects of litigation, including e-discovery.Preferred experience with preparing for, defending, or taking depositions.Preferred experience working with expert and fact witnesses.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.Exceptional organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications (Preferred):Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.Patent Bar membership (preferred but not required).Benefits Offered: The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other supplemental benefits.
