The Line Cook is expected to prepare hot and cold foods for the restaurant and cafe. Must have a passion for cooking and work well as part of a team. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Produce excellent quality and presentation of all menu items Know and comply with all presentation, cooking methods, portion sizes, quality standards, and cleanliness standards and procedures Keep the line and all other areas of the kitchen clean and assist in daily cleanings Stock sufficient levels of food products and tools to the work stations to ensure a smooth shift Set up and break down stations, ensuring proper food labeling and storage Qualifications Communicate effectively and clearly with all kitchen and restaurant staff Knife skills Ability to multi-task under pressure and maintain a calm attitude with all personalities Act professionally with co-workers, bosses, vendors or any guests Must be able to stand and work in a kitchen environment for the entirety of a shift Must have a flexible schedule Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and stay through the entire season Tenney Resort & Recreation LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
