Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Daily Pay12 hour Shift available$3,500 Sign on Bonus paid out quarterly (F/t and P/t only)Committed to promoting wellness, healing, and independence for all lives we touch.Mountain Laurel Rehabilitation and Nursing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. We are committed to creating a nurturing, family-like atmosphere where staff develop meaningful relationships with residents and where exceptional patient outcomes are the standard.Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Observe and manage the resident's health according to individual needs.Provide routine care, ensure comfort, and report any changes in resident health and behavior.Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.Administer medications and injections, provide wound care, perform standard diagnostic procedures, and collect and prepare specimens.Other special projects and duties, as assigned.Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license.Must have a current/active CPR certification.Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.Work Schedule for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):With the flexible hours that we are offering, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) can be full-time or part-time. Shifts include days, nights, and weekends. We are willing to work around YOUR schedule!
