Job Title: Library Technician Location: Washington Navy Yard, DC Duties: Supporting typical library functions to include basic circulation and collection management tasks (shelf-reading, re-shelving, stack maintenance, inventorying, cleaning/dusting) Digitizing and organizing documents Inputting data and/or metadata into library systems, databases, and other documents Reproducing, collating, transcribing, and reviewing relevant documents Developing and designing document templates Compiling information in support of reference requests, publications, or historical products Assisting with Library Branch information technology and equipment Editing written documents and digital files Office coverage, task management, and follow-up of phone calls, meetings, email requests, and various other forms of correspondence. Follow-up to ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to expectations. Education & Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience providing library paraprofessional support. Possess and maintain a minimum clearance level of is National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI). Powered by JazzHR
