Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY. Locations & Shifts: Brookhaven: Saturday-Tuesday 0700-1500/Wednesday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr. Brookhaven: Thursday-Sunday 1500-2300/Monday 1400-2200 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr. Brookhaven: Saturday 0700-1500 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr. Brookhaven: Saturday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr. BENEFITS: Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical Plan Vision Plan Dental Plan Life Insurance 401 K Referral Bonuses Career Development Opportunities UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures. Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager. SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma / GED required. 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required. Valid NYS Security Guard License. Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form. Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
