Description:
PRIMARY DUTY: This position is responsible for performing lifeguard functions related to swimming and safety and overseeing basic order in the facility. The primary focus of the Lead Lifeguard is the safety of the guests. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, preferred. At least one year's experience supervising lifeguards in a municipal pool setting preferred. One year of experience teaching learn-to-swim or aqua aerobics preferred. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: LGI (Lifeguard Instructor) preferred (note; if hired without a LGI certification, employee must acquire the certification within 90 days of promotion).
