Will serve as content expert for staff and Administration by resolving/answering technical issues or concerns which may arise. Assists Director/Admin Director with pertinent feedback for the completion of annual staff evaluations. Oversees training and competency of all new hires and provides feedback for 90 day probationary evaluations. Clarifies performance expectations with employees and provides ongoing feedback, to staff, on a regular basis. Develops competencies for Diagnostic staff members and ensures that all staff are competent in all aspects of General Diagnostic position, to include rotations in portable, ER, Trauma, OR, and General areas.. Assists Director in dealing with inappropriate behaviors or actions by participating in coaching sessions of staff in a direct and confidential manner. All progressive discipline of staff members are handled by Director. Obtains appropriate documentation from technical staff as well as participate in Primary Sourcing to ensure staff are in compliance with State, National Accrediting Agencies, as well as compliance with all of Cooper's policies and corporate compliance requirements to include Annual Safety Training, PPD, Fit Testing, Radiation Safety, and MRI Safety. Completes all staff schedules for Diagnostic staff in hospital, completes payroll responsibilities, and ensures that department is staffed to volumes, at all times. Responsible for ensuring department operates within or under budgetary guidelines in regards to staffing and expense management. Support individual and departmental achievement through the use of recognition methods Experience Required5+ years clinical.All Diagnostic Radiology Functions, RIS/PACS, CR, DREducation RequirementsH.S. Diploma, Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited ACR program, B.S. preferredLicense/Certification RequirementsCurrent NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)Current ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) -Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiology TechnologistSpecial RequirementsProficient in M.S. Windows Applications
