40+ year established Clinton Township, Michigan landscaping company, that's part of a growing family of high-end residential landscape brands, is looking for a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader / Foreman. Responsibilities Lead a crew performing lawn maintenance services for clients across SE Michigan and Metro Detroit. Safely and efficiently operate commercial mowing equipment. Assure high-quality service to company standards. Train and develop new crew members. Safely drive truck and trailer to job sites. Maintain crew's safe working conditions at all times. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Keep vehicles and clean clean. Track time in/out when arriving and leaving properties. Snow and ice management services in the winter months. Other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the company. Requirements: Sufficient lawn maintenance experience, including being able to safely and efficiently operate commercial lawn equipment. Valid Driver's license. Able to adhere to zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Able to safely drive and back up a truck and trailer. Able to perform basic routine maintenance on lawn maintenance equipment. Able to efficiently lead a lawn maintenance crew, including training and developing new team members. Must be punctual and reliable. Attendance and dependability is very important in this role.
