Under supervision, conduct legal research and analysis of United States law and court procedures and rules, assisting attorneys in drafting legal documents and memoranda; Search for and study legal documents, statements, and court decisions to investigate law of cases for the preparation of cases. Areas of research will include employment-based immigration, business-related legal and estate planning laws and regulations, such as trademark, incorporation, contracts, and living trust; Research current processing requirements at service centers, consulates, and courts, as well as current and potential changes in the law, informing attorneys when cases are affected by the changes; Write and draft legal documents and contracts, including memos, motions, trademark licensing, settlements, and other agreements pertaining to the services the firm provides; Review and analyze petitions, requests for evidence, motions, and denials to determine issues involved and provide recommendations on how to proceed; Accompany legal team to court sessions and interviews to record necessary case information and oral arguments; Ensure that attorneys are, at all times, and advised of client related issues that come to the attention of the law clerk; Communicate with the attorney and discuss case management and procedural requirements with the attorney. JOB REQUIREMENT: Masters degree in Law, United States Law. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday Friday 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. 40 hours per week.
