This full-time, partnership-track position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation and labor law matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience (class years 2018-2021), a strong academic background, and excellent analytical and writing skills. Experience in big law or class action matters is a plus. Active membership in the DC Bar or eligibility to waive in is required.Location:Washington, DCDuties:Represent clients in various labor and employment matters, including discrimination, wage and hour issues, and wrongful termination cases.Draft and review pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Advise clients on labor law issues, including compliance, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution.Manage and litigate employment law cases from inception through trial, including depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and case preparation.Stay up to date with changes in labor and employment law, and incorporate new developments into ongoing cases.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation.Strong academic record from an accredited law school.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience with class action cases or large law firm background preferred.Active membership in the DC Bar or eligibility to waive in.Ability to manage complex cases and handle high-pressure situations.Strong communication and client relationship management skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active DC Bar membership or eligibility to waive into the DC Bar.Skills:Proficient in labor and employment law, including litigation and compliance issues.Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills.Experience with class actions, regulatory matters, and compliance issues.Excellent oral advocacy and client communication skills.Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.Benefits (if given):Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) and retirement plan options.Paid time off (PTO) and wellness benefits.Professional development and growth opportunities with a clear path to partnership.
