The successful candidate will have experience litigating patent cases before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The role requires a strong educational background in technical fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, or physics. An advanced degree or relevant industry experience is a plus. Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Duties:Represent clients in patent litigation matters before U.S. district courts, the ITC, and the PTAB.Develop and implement litigation strategies, including legal research, drafting case briefs, and motion practice.Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct and manage discovery processes, including document review, deposition preparation, and witness interviews.Participate in trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings, presenting evidence and legal arguments effectively.Collaborate with clients, technical experts, and senior attorneys to build and support patent litigation cases.Analyze complex technical information and apply it to legal arguments and strategies.Stay updated on trends in patent law, litigation practices, and technological advancements.Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.Requirements:Experience litigating patent cases before U.S. district courts, the ITC, or the PTAB.Preferred educational background includes an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.Advanced degree or industry experience in relevant technical fields is a plus.Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Education:JD degree from an accredited law school.Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field is preferred.Certifications:Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Skills:Strong background in patent litigation and intellectual property law.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to patent disputes.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Ability to understand and interpret complex technical information.Strong written and oral communication skills, with effective case presentation abilities.Experience in managing discovery processes and case documentation.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Commitment to staying informed on patent law and technological developments.
